Install Instructions for Garlic-Player on Raspberry Pi 4

Use the 64 bit full desktop image of the raspberry

copy garlic-player-rpi4_64.tar.gz to /home/pi

Open a command line

cd /home/pi

tar xfv garlic-player-rpi4_64.tar.gz

bash /home/pi/garlic-player/install.sh

after reboot

bash /home/pi/garlic-player/start-vlc.sh

Garlic-player connects automatically to SmilControl CMS. You can customize start-vlc.sh to change this.

This works also with Raspberry Pi 3, but we strongly recommend to use a Rasperry Pi 4.
